Personally, I hate how unresponsive the game feels on a lower polling rate but it is the only way I can play Apex Legends without it freezing/stuttering. I have heard about people struggling with stuttering and have found different fixes by deleting specific software (Razer Synapse or GeForce experience for example) but have not seen any ...
