    I decided to have one deer attached to the wall and the other suspended from that deer. The first deer was mounted in a hard turn with some twist in the neck (altered this way) and both sets of antlers attached in the normal manner of any shoulder mount. I then mounted the second deer after needed alterations and left only the top of the head open.

  11. As Joey said, check your state’s laws and be sure to find the regulations specifically regarding taxidermy mounts. Every state is different and it affects buying and selling. Skins, hides, feathers, body parts, etc. are sometimes restricted separately, or distinct from mounted specimens which may be not be restricted.
