I have a fixed 4ft boom on each of my Cannon Mag 10A riggers but I would like to get a longer boom for my starboard rigger. I've seen a 5ft boom on some older Uni-Troll riggers but not on the older Mag 10A's. I'm just looking for one longer boom. Thanks! 4ft was a guesstimate, they measure 3ft. The issue is the extendable booms are too short still. Even all the way out, they still make contact with the main motor, like I said before 1 foot extension on the 52" boom would be ideal. Thanks I will try to pull up the later posts. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
Boom diameter is the same so your old boom will fit into the 5ST. Also use the ball hook arrangement from the 5 ST on the old boom. You can run your old style boom end if you don't want to adapt over to the new end piece. Simple swap.
I.m pretty sure I have 1 or 2 gold boom extensions for big Jon's. I.m at work now and won't be home til 5ish.

I have a pair of cannons mag 10 going on 20 years old now only problem I have had was cords rotted but they replaced them with a new style that have held up well. I have a new pair of mag 10 that are 2 years old I don’t like the pulley on the end of boom cable keeps coming off getting stuck going to change to old style.

Same thing here had older mag10's, went for the mag-5hs swapped out the short booms for longer one's i made and i already had the swivel base's and ended up saving a bunch on doing this and i now have the mag 10 set up and saved about 300 bucks going too same thing this year with my other set awsome riggers.
