Lake Park's school system is combined with that of neighboring Audubon. The high school (7-12) is in Lake Park and the elementary school (1-6) is located in Audubon. The school's mascot is the Raider, a traditional depiction of a Pirate. The former mascot for Lake Park, was the Parker Penguin.
