FIGat7th is an open-air shopping mall located in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles. In 2021, the Healthy Housing Foundation converted the Barclay Hotel into a low-rent housing project for homeless families. The conversion was part of an initiative to turn 11 hotels in the Los Angeles area into affordable housing. At the time of the project's opening, 158 units were offered for rent at a range of $400 to $750 per month. [9]
Bullocks Wilshire, located at 3050 Wilshire Boulevard in Los Angeles, California, is a 230,000-square-foot (21,000 m 2) Art Deco building. The building opened in September 1929 as a luxury department store for owner John G. Bullock (owner of the more mainstream Bullock's in Downtown Los Angeles). [2]
