In 2008, 93% of the school's seniors received their high school diploma. Of 325 students, 303 graduated, 13 dropped out, four received a modified diploma, and five stayed on for another year. [3] [4] West Albany High School offers 16 Advanced Placement (AP) courses and 26 opportunities for college credit through Linn-Benton Community College. [5]
Oregon City High School was established 139 years ago in 1885 on the lower level of Oregon City on Jackson Street Due to the growing number of students in the late 1980s, a freshman campus was established in 1989 at Moss Junior High School on the southeast side of Oregon City and the main campus had just the upper three grades (10–12) for its last fourteen years.
Clackamas High School was built in 2002 to a design by Portland's Boora Architects and was the first high school in the country to be certified LEED Silver. [ 12 ] [ 13 ] Clackamas High became one of the first "solar schools" in Oregon with the installation of 2 kW solar panels on the roof in 2003. [ 14 ]
In 2016 the Sherwood School District funded and approved a $186-250 Million Dollar bond that would go towards a new Sherwood High School. The old building would be renovated and used as Sherwood Middle School. Construction Started in 2018 and finished in 2020. The new building was set to open for the 2020-2021 School year.
Part of the Hillsboro School District, it features programs that include two alternative high schools and a middle school. [1] The school opened in 1987, and in 2001 moved from leased space on Enterprise Circle to the school district's former administrative buildings in downtown at Sixth and Washington and Seventh and Washington. [ 2 ]
Liberty High School (LHS) is located in Hillsboro, Oregon, United States, just west of Portland. It opened in 2003, with only freshmen, sophomores and juniors. The school has 1,534 students (2017–2018) [3] and 140 faculty members. As of 2016, the graduation rate was 85%. [3] It is the newest high school in the Hillsboro School District.
In 2011, the school combined all the grades to one campus in Lebanon Oregon. Since then, the school has increased the number of classes and buildings as needed for the growth of the school. In 2017, the school started fundraising for a new cafeteria and additional classrooms. They hope to begin construction by 2019.
