The creation of a lake by the Great Falls Dam brought numerous recreational opportunities to Rock Island. The Calfkiller River is a 42.4-mile-long (68.2 km) [1] stream in the east-central portion of Middle Tennessee in the United States. It is a tributary of the Caney Fork, and is part of the Cumberland, Ohio, and Mississippi watersheds.
