King's Highway 12, commonly referred to as Highway 12 and historically known as the Whitby and Sturgeon Bay Road, is a provincially maintained highway in the Canadian province of Ontario. The highway connects the eastern end of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) with Kawartha Lakes (via Highway 7 ), Orillia and Midland before ending at Highway 93 .
SH-81 was established by the Idaho State Board of Highway Directors on September 12, 1972, to preserve state maintenance of the highway between Burley and the Utah state line. [2] [7] In 1983, the Idaho Transportation Board studied an extension of SH-81 from Burley to Twin Falls to replace an existing section of US 30. [8]

The route of I-86 largely follows the westernmost section of US-30N, which split from US-30S at Burley and continued east into Wyoming. [10] The corridor was part of the Oregon Trail in the 19th century and was later marked as an auto trail. [11] [12] It was designated as SH-16 in the early 1920s, prior to its incorporation into US-30N in 1926.
The highway is one of the busiest in Idaho and is designated as the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Highway. I-84 runs for 276 miles (444 km) within Idaho, beginning near Ontario, Oregon, and traveling concurrent with several U.S. routes through the Boise metropolitan area and Mountain Home towards Twin Falls.
Idaho State Highway 27 passes through the west side of Heyburn, connecting Burley to the south with Paul 3 miles (5 km) to the north. According to the United States Census Bureau , Heyburn has a total area of 2.7 square miles (7.0 km 2 ), of which 0.04 square miles (0.10 km 2 ), or 1.66%, are water.
