The Guadiana River (/ ˌ ɡ w ɑː d i ˈ ɑː n ə / GWAH-dee-AH-nə, US also / ɡ w ɑː d ˈ j ɑː n ə / gwahd-YAH-nə, [1] [2] Spanish: [ɡwaˈðjana], Portuguese: [ɡwɐdiˈɐnɐ]) is an international river defining a long stretch of the Portugal-Spain border, separating Extremadura and Andalusia (Spain) from Alentejo and Algarve (Portugal).
Iberia is located in southeastern Miller County in the Ozarks of central Missouri. The city is at the intersection of routes 17 and 42.Route 17 leads northwest 15 miles (24 km) to Tuscumbia, the Miller county seat, and south 11 miles (18 km) to Crocker, while Route 42 leads west 18 miles (29 km) to Lake of the Ozarks State Park and northeast 22 miles (35 km) to Vienna.

Olivenza is located on the left (east) bank of the Guadiana river, [6] at an equal distance of 24 kilometres (15 miles) south of Elvas in Portugal and Badajoz in Spain. The territory is triangular, with a smaller side resting on the Guadiana and the opposite vertex entering south-east and surrounded by Spanish territory.
