Janice Lynn Kuehnemund (/ ˈ k uː n ə m ə n d, ˈ k juː-, ˈ k iː-/; November 18, 1953 [1] – October 10, 2013) [2] was an American guitarist who founded the all-female hard rock/glam metal band Vixen.

Roxy returned when Vixen reunited in 1997, bringing in her sister Maxine into the fold, but the lineup had to be dissolved the next year for legal reasons. Gardner mostly stayed out of the spotlight until making a few special appearances singing with the band Scrap Metal in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, Share Ross and Roxy Petrucci, along with Gardner, contacted Jan Kuehnemund about reuniting the original Vixen, however Kuehnemund declined stating that she was happy with her new band.
Although guitarist Jan Kuehnemund continued to front her own version of Vixen following the show, the original lineup did not reunite again until 2012, shortly before Kuehnemund's death the next year; the remaining members have since continued the band.
