    All the campsites appeared to be fringed with trees, many with stunning views of Pike's Peak or the valley to the south. Saw a very large family of wild turkeys scuttle across the road in front of us. Good pavement, plenty of picnic spots and abundant facilities if one needed to make a pit stop.
