Ahmad Dhani. Dhani Ahmad Prasetyo (born 26 May 1972), better known as Ahmad Dhani, sometimes Dhani Muhammad Prasetyo, Dhani S. Manaf, or simply Dhani, is an Indonesian musician. He was the frontman of Dewa 19 (together with Once Mekel), Ahmad Band, and also a member of the inter-continental band, the Rock.
Dewa 19 (pronounced in Indonesian as Dewa Sembilan Belas) is an Indonesian rock band from Surabaya, East Java, led by singer-songwriter Ahmad Dhani. Along with God Bless and Slank, they are dubbed as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of Indonesian popular music. The band was formed in 1986.

After his dismissal from Dewa 19, Lasso became a solo singer. [4] He released his first solo album, the commercially successful Sendiri Dulu, that year which sold over 500.000 copies.
