January 11, 1976. The Sheffield Historic District is a national historic district in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The district is primarily a residential area, though it also includes multiple small commercial areas. The area takes its name from Joseph and Maria Sheffield, who established a farm at the site in the late 1830s.

Damen Avenue is a street in Chicago, where it is 2000 West in the grid. It is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) west of State Street, the city's north–south baseline. Known as Robey Street for politician James Robey prior to 1927, it was renamed in honor of Father Arnold Damen. [ 1] However, the Robey name is retained in Harvey and Dixmoor as Robey Avenue.
