    I don't think you understand how credit works. The sooner you understand the game, the better off you will be. Any time you apply for credit - credit card or loan, you get "hard check" that lowers your score. So long as the credit you use afterwards is properly utilized, your score will bounce back. Essentially, applying for credit uses your score.
