Park Soo-young (Korean: 박수영; born July 31, 1992), [1] is a South Korean singer and actress. She debuted under the stage name Lizzy (리지) as a member of the South Korean girl group After School in March 2010 and later formed part of the group's sub-units, Orange Caramel and After School Blue.
Park Soo-young was born in Jeju Island and raised in Dobong, Seoul. [2] [3] [4] She is the eldest of three sisters. [5]As a child, Joy was interested in modern trot music and was influenced to become a singer after receiving praise for her rendition of Korean rock band Cherry Filter's song "Flying Duck" during a grade school festival.
