The park preserves Fort Jefferson and the several Dry Tortugas islands, the westernmost and most isolated of the Florida Keys. The archipelago's coral reefs are the least disturbed of the Florida Keys reefs. The park is noted for abundant sea life, tropical bird breeding grounds, colorful coral reefs, and shipwrecks and sunken treasures.
Tortugas Bank is the westernmost feature of the Florida Keys, but it is a submarine feature, wholly submerged, without any islands or above-water rocks. The least known depth is 11 meters. A depth of less than 18 meters is found in a circle of 4 km diameter around the center of the bank.

Anclote Key Preserve State Park is a Florida State Park and historic site, located on Anclote Key three miles (5 km) off Tarpon Springs along the Atlantic coastal plain. This state park is only accessible by boat. Amenities include primitive camping on the northern portion of the island as well as picnic pavilions and grills.
Grassy Key, Florida, is an island in the middle Florida Keys. [1] It is located on U.S. 1 (or the Overseas Highway ), near mile markers 57—60, below the Conch Keys. It has an area of 3.65 km², with a population of 974 as of the census 2000.
The island has a small beach, many coconut trees, has sandbars around it, and is a good fishing spot. Money Key is a private island and has been owned by the Kyle family since 1972. "No Trespassing" signs were posted in 2013 to stop illegal camping and visitation.
Stock Island is located at (24.570075, -81.737376 [4]U.S. 1 (or the Overseas Highway) crosses the key near mile markers 4–6, immediately east of Key West.. The northern side of stock island is home to the Key West Golf Course, Monroe County Detention Center, and the main campus of Florida Keys Community College.
