Welcome to Nobles! The Nobles community is a thriving, inclusive, joyful community where our students are inspired by dedicated teachers, coaches and mentors to reach their highest potential each and every day.
Approach & Philosophy. At the core of a Nobles education is our unequaled academic program. We bring together teachers who are passionate about their subjects—and even more passionate about working with young people. Likewise, the students who choose Nobles are exceptional.
Our School. All-school assembly brings us together four mornings a week. Nobles sits on 173 acres along the Charles River, 10 miles from Boston. Day tuition is $62,600; five-day boarding tuition is $68,600. 75-80% of students travel and/or study away before graduating.
Everyone has a “favorite space” on campus—whether it’s the alcoves in the Shattuck Schoolhouse, the stage in Vinik Theatre, or the serene glass-enclosed quiet reading room in the academic center. One place brings us all together: the Castle.
We seek students who are eager to join our community and contribute their energy and talents to whatever they pursue. Our aim is to build a community that represents excellence, curiosity and diversity, equity and inclusion in the broadest sense. Scroll down to learn how to apply to Nobles.
Watch our Guided Virtual Tour. Our school is situated on 173 acres along the Charles River in Dedham, 10 miles from Boston. Tour the renovated 19th-century castle that serves not only as the dining hall and a home to some of our faculty, but also as the literal and figurative center of school life.
Nobles distinguishes its residential program with five-day boarding. Forty-eight upper school students live on campus five days a week and return home on the weekend to promote continuity with home and family.
For the 2024–25 school year, Nobles provided more than $7.3 million in aid to families who qualified for financial assistance, and the average grant was $47,907. Information about applying for need-based financial aid can be found below.
