Belconnen (/ ˈ b ɛ l k ɒ n ɪ n /) is a district in the Australian Capital Territory in Australia.The district is subdivided into 27 divisions (suburbs), sections and blocks. As at the 2021 census, the district had a population of 106,061 people; [1] and was the most populous district within the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

Antill Street and the stormwater drain were built in 1958–59, and the first incursion into the Experiment Station was for a motel on the corner of Northbourne Avenue south of Antill Street (where the Telstra building is now). The Experiment Station's work was transferred to Ginninderra Experiment Station in Belconnen.
