Forest Green Rovers Football Club is a professional association football club based in Nailsworth, Gloucestershire, England. The team competes in the National League, the fifth level of the English football league system. Formed in October 1889, the club became founder members of the Mid Gloucestershire League five years later.
Forest Green Rovers was founded in October 1889 by the local Nonconformist church minister. [1] In 1894 Forest Green Rovers became founder members of the "Mid Gloucestershire League", the first association football league in the county outside Bristol.
The 2022–23 season is the 134th season in the existence of Forest Green Rovers Football Club and the club's first ever season in League One following their promotion from League Two in the previous season. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy.
Hannah Dingley (born 19 July 1983) is a Welsh football coach who has been the Head of Women's and Girls' Football at the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) since May 2024. Prior to her role with the FAI, Dingley served as the academy manager of National League club Forest Green Rovers.

[35] He announced on 14 December 2023 that he was leaving the club upon the expiration of what was referred to by the club as "the longest emergency loan ever". [36]
