The latest version on Steam is 1.2.0.59. If you wish to play a mostly vanilla gameplay experience, I would highly recommend sticking to this version with some essential MODs. Some may want to downgrade their game to versions 1.0.8.0 or 1.0.7.0 to support older MODs which only work on older game versions. GTA IV Downgrader [gtaforums.com]
