James "Jamie" Goodwin (born July 24, 1961) [1] is an American actor. He is best known for playing the roles of Johnny Bauer on the CBS soap opera Guiding Light (1986 to 1990) and Kevin Anderson on the NBC soap opera Another World (1991 to 1993).
The show entered daily broadcast syndication in the fall of 1986, which continued until 2003. [6] The syndication rights for Too Close for Comfort are held by DLT Entertainment, a production and distribution company owned by show producer Donald L. Taffner. Before television, Goodwin had been a radio announcer on the Al Pearce Show (1935–36), and was the star of his own comedy Bill Goodwin Show (1947) on CBS.
