The University of Santo Tomas (UST; Tagalog: Pamantasan ng Santo Tomás; Spanish: Universidad de Santo Tomás), officially the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas, Manila or colloquially as Ustê (pronounced), is a private Catholic research university in Manila, Philippines.

The following is a list of buildings at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Sampaloc, Manila.. The university sits on an almost perfect square of 21.5 hectares. The university transferred to its present campus in 1927 when the Dominicans deemed the Intramuros campus inadequate for the university's growing population.
The coat of arms of the older faculties and colleges of the university were designed by Cenon M. Rivera, former director of the fine arts department of the university. Each college also has a patron saint that was chosen based on the field or profession of the college. The selection is administered by the council of regents of the university.
The Intramuros campus was burned down on February 8, 1944. On January 7, 1946, the university reopened at its present site in Sampaloc and the Faculty of Engineering was temporarily based in the UST Main Building. UST Engineering reopened with 300 students. Chemical Engineering accepted the first batch of women enrollees in the faculty.
Although a few Dominican missionaries worked together to establish the university – including Miguel de Benavides, Bernardo Navarro, and other old professors from the higher colleges and universities in Spain – the founding of the university is attributed mainly to Miguel de Benavides, the first to give a fund for the maintenance of the institution.

The University of Santo Tomas Central Seminary Building currently houses the Santísimo Rosario Parish, the Central Seminary, and the Faculties of Ecclesiastical Studies of the Pontifical and Royal University of Santo Tomas in Manila. The parish was canonically inaugurated on April 26, 1942, by Michael J. O'Doherty, the Archbishop of Manila. [2]
