    It is claimed in the main article that the Save-On-Foods chain was founded in 1915, but this is not true. It was actually the Overwaitea chain that was founded in 1915, while the first stores to open under the Save-On-Foods name opened in 1982 in the Greater Vancouver area. The founding date for Save-On-Foods should be changed to reflect this.
