The Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ; "New Journal of Zürich") is a Swiss, German-language daily newspaper, published by NZZ Mediengruppe in Zürich. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The paper was founded in 1780. NZZ Mediengruppe was the fourth major magazine publisher in Switzerland in terms of circulation in the years of 2005, 2008 and 2012. NZZ Geschichte was first published on 16 April 2015 as a quarterly magazine. [1] [2] The magazine is part of the NZZ Mediengruppe and based in Zürich. [1] It publishes articles on Swiss and international history written by historians. [3] The frequency of the magazine was switched to bimonthly later. [4]
