The North York Moors is an upland area in north-eastern Yorkshire, England. It contains one of the largest expanses of heather moorland in the United Kingdom. The area was designated as a National Park in 1952, through the National Parks and Access to the Countryside Act 1949 .

The Kilburn White Horse is a hill figure cut into the hillside in the North York Moors National Park near Kilburn in North Yorkshire, England. It is 318 feet (97 m) long by 220 ft (67 m) high and covers about 1.6 acres (6,475 m 2 ) and said to be the most northerly "chalk" hill figure in England.
Egton Manor is an historic country house near the village of Egton Bridge, on the banks of the River Esk in the North Yorkshire Moors. The Grade II listed building was built in 1869 by the Foster family, whose descendants still live there today.
