Madison West Rocket Club was started in 2003. In 2009, 2012, and 2019 it placed first in the American Rocketry Challenge (TARC) national finals. [6] [7] [8] In 2020, the club submitted a proposal to the Ken Sousa Memorial Grant Contest to study the effects of space flight on organisms by sending slime molds into suborbital flight. [9]

Glenbard West High School is a public four-year high school located at the corner of Ellyn Avenue and Crescent Boulevard in Glen Ellyn, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Glenbard Township High School District 87 . [ 8 ]
Prior to 2002, all high school students in the district attended one school called Pocono Mountain High School. Since 2002, students in the district have been assigned to Pocono Mountain West or Pocono Mountain East based on geography. [4] The school served 1,901 students in grades 9th through 12th. It had 114 classroom teachers in 2013. [5]
This school-wide carnival occurs annually at the end of the school year, from 11:30am until the end of the school day outside on the back field at West Milford High School. Booths are run by individual clubs and groups, with all students being invited to participate in the festivities.
Davenport West is classified as a 4A school (Iowa's largest 48 schools), according to the Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union; in sports where there are fewer divisions, the Falcons are always in the largest class (e.g., Class 3A for wrestling, boys soccer, and Class 2A for golf, tennis and girls soccer).

The school sponsors interscholastic teams for young men and women in basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, track & field, and volleyball.
The school was founded in 1915 under the name Appleton Senior High School, but the current facility was constructed in 1938, and the name was changed to West High in 1967 following the construction of Appleton East High School. [6] The current principal is Joshua Chudacoff. [7]
