St Giles Shopping Centre is a shopping center located in Elgin, Scotland. The Centre has two floors and has a glass lift. [1] The Centre is supported with an adjacent car park. It also contains Elgin's bus station. As of January 2025, St Giles Shopping Centre is closed.
Saint Giles (/ dʒ aɪ l z /, Latin: Aegidius, French: Gilles, Italian: Egidio, Spanish: Gil; c. 650 - c. 710), also known as Giles the Hermit, was a hermit or monk active in the lower Rhône most likely in the 7th century. Revered as a saint, his cult became widely diffused but his hagiography is mostly legendary.
The St Giles area was subsequently identified by the then Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone, as an area for regeneration in his London Plan for the strategic development of the city. Livingstone envisaged St Giles as the site for a cluster of towers alongside the existing Centre Point tower, but this was opposed by Camden council.

After its opening in 1987, the Godmanchester location has since become one of the largest animal rehoming centres in Europe, with modern facilities for the care of dogs, cats, small and outdoor animals. A veterinary surgery and kennels block were built at the charity's Godmanchester centre in 2012.

This manor house is located near the centre of Wimborne St Giles. [13] St Giles was largely unoccupied apart from one wing used as the estate office.
