The Diocese was formed by order number 145/2009 signed by the Catholicos of the Apostolic Throne of St. Thomas and Malankara Metropolitan, Didymus I on 1 April 2009. Balmorhea Lake is a reservoir on Sandia Creek 2 miles (3.2 km) southeast of downtown Balmorhea, Texas. Water from Toyah Creek, fed by the nearby San Solomon Springs, is also fed into the reservoir, as is excess water in the Phantom Lake Canal. Historians believe that people have used springs in this area for more than 11,000 years. [1]
The highway's eastern terminus is the intersection with US 181 at Skidmore. The route runs southwest through Tynan to an intersection with Interstate 37 at Mathis.The route continues in a southwest direction past Lake Corpus Christi through Sandia, Orange Grove and Alfred until it reaches Alice, where it is briefly co-routed with SH 44.
Waring is an unincorporated community in northwestern Kendall County, Texas, United States. It lies along local roads and the Guadalupe River, northwest of the city of Boerne, the county seat of Kendall County. [1] Its elevation is 1,345 feet (410 m). [2]
