Location: CA. Heli brand reputation - let's compare to cars :-) For a fun comparison, I wanted to equate the reputation/brand of heli's to car brands. Here is my perception - be interested in hearing different opinions if you have any. EDIT: Made some mods after some good feedback.
This dries almost instantly so we can start painting on it straight away. Step 2: Prime the canopy. Here is what you need, primer, hardener, reducer and gloves. Mine is mixed in a 4:1 ratio of primer to hardener with 10% reducer. Mix it up and we are ready to prime the canopy.
The SAB blades are built more durably, the Azure split apart pretty easily. The S line fit and finish is abysmal compared to the Azure blades though. They both flew different but ok, different strokes for different folks. You have to try them to see which one you prefer, others advice only goes so far.
Not surprising, the 550x has the same tail grips as a trex700, I have a 700L laying around and did a comparison. the 700L has a different blade hub bulkier on the shaft mount. Old 700's i believe had a slim one similar to the 550's. SAB 105= 5.6g. Align 90= 4.9g. Root thickness is the same.

Step 1: My blade grip size, is it 12mm or 14mm. Remove all blades that arnt my size. Step 2: Pick the blades that work for my heli, 690mm, 700mm etc. Step 3: Pick the profiles that I need, asymetrical or not. Step 4: Look at the price tags and see what I can afford.
