The match went down to the wire and into overtime as Sri Lanka's Rashmi Perera sent it into the two extra periods. Toh Kai Wei (11 goals) and Amandeep (4 goals) managed to pull things back in Singapore's favour and Singapore edged past Sri Lanka with a scoreline 15–12 in overtime to clinch the 2024 Asian Netball Championship. In 2015, the school won the Kandy District Girls under 19 schools basketball Championship. [3] In 2017, Under-14 hockey team won the ‘Golden Star’ award at the 17th Sri Lanka Schools Hockey Carnival 2017. [4] In 2020, Ruchini Niwarthana won third Place of Sri Lankan Biology Olympiad 2020. [5]
The school library was set up in 1982 with the assistance of the Sri Lanka Library Services Board. In 1996, a program titled "Library Week" was inaugurated during the "Reading Month". Library facilities are provided to all the pupils of the school and there are two libraries separately; one for Primary Grades and other for seniors.

She joined the Campbell Netball Club in 2008 and her performances for the club in the domestic competition caught the eyes of the selectors and she was included in the squad for the 2009 Asian Championship. [4] She made her senior international debut for Sri Lanka in 2009 at the Asian Championships where Sri Lanka crowned as champions.
