The 2024 Extreme E Championship was the fourth and final season of the Extreme E electric off-road racing series, before the transition to hydrogen fuel cell cars for 2025. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] The season was abandoned after only 4 of the planned 10 races.
Prior to the 2022 season's opening race, Agag announced the creation of a similar off-road electric championship called Extreme H, featuring a hydrogen fuel cell version of the Spark Odyssey 21 car. In August 2023, the FIA and Extreme E signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding to set out a framework for Extreme H.

Going into the final race of the season, RXR were ahead on points of X44. After the team managed to secure a podium finish, and with RXR coming last for the weekend, it saw the team finishing the season as champions, 5 points ahead of RXR. Veloce joined Extreme E for its inaugural season in 2021, announcing 2019 W Series champion Jamie Chadwick and former F1 and WRC driver Stéphane Sarrazin as their line-up. The team, racing with technical support from ART Grand Prix , [ 4 ] won their first podium in the series at the 2021 Ocean X-Prix . [ 5 ]
A provisional race schedule was announced on 17 December 2019, which would have seen a season start in January 2021 with an event in Senegal.
