The Palisades Fire is an ongoing wildfire burning in the Santa Monica Mountains of Los Angeles County in Southern California which has killed at least 10 people. As of January 17, 2025, at 5:53 p.m. PST, the fire had spread to 23,713 acres (9,596 ha; 95.96 km 2; 37.052 sq mi), destroying large areas of Pacific Palisades, Topanga, and Malibu.
