Benton Cordell "B. C." Goodpasture (April 9, 1895 – February 18, 1977) was a preacher and writer in the Churches of Christ.A contributing writer to the Gospel Advocate starting in 1920, in 1939 he became the publication's editor, a post he held until his death.

Turner prepped at Goodpasture Christian School in Madison, Tennessee, where he was a highly touted receiver, winning numerous All-American awards during his Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. Turner participated in the 2005 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He was also on his high school's basketball team until his sophomore year.
