The Rona is a right tributary of the river Iza in Romania. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It discharges into the Iza in Sighetu Marmației . [ 3 ] Its length is 23 km (14 mi) and its basin size is 90 km 2 (35 sq mi).
Rona de Jos (Hungarian: Alsóróna, Yiddish: אונטר-רינה, romanized: Inter Rina) is a commune in Maramureș County, Maramureș, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Rona de Jos. The commune is located in a hilly area in the northern part of the county, 3 km (1.9 mi) from the river Tisza and the Ukrainian border.
