Southern Point is an unincorporated community in Scioto Township, Pickaway County, in the U.S. state of Ohio. The area is located at the border of Pickaway and Franklin Counties on Ohio State Route 104. [1] As of 2019, there were more than 500 houses and freestanding condominiums in the community. [2]

The village was so named for the fact the southernmost point in the state is contained within its borders. [5] Now considered to be a populated place within South Point, [6] in 1918 the community of North Kenova was located at (38.412, -82.578), [7] so named because it was on the opposite bank of the Ohio River from Kenova, West Virginia.
