Atatürk University (Turkish: Atatürk Üniversitesi) is a public land-grant research university established in 1957 in Erzurum, Turkey, in collaboration with the University of Nebraska. [3] The university comprises 23 faculties, 18 colleges, 8 institutes, and 30 research centers. [ 4 ]
The university offers graduate, masters, and doctoral programs. English is the primary medium of instruction at the university. However, some classes are taught in Russian and a few other classes are taught in Turkish. The Ataturk-Alatoo University was affiliated and funded by Fethullah Gülen and his group advocating global Islamic education. [1]
