Added some of the references that I had listed, and rewrote to eliminate the non-static list of words (the acceptable word list changes every 5 years or so). Please rewrite my in-eloquence. This was raised on AfD (VfD as it then was). The consensus was to keep it here, since it contains more than a list of definitions, and is about the words themselves more than the things they represent. Printed dictionaries do not contain lists of word curios, so Wiktionary should not either. Soo 16:10, 30 December 2005 (UTC)
Unlike the Official Scrabble Players Dictionary, NWL is a list and does not include definitions. It contains words not included in OSPD because they are considered offensive, [3] and a number of other additional words (mostly registered trademarks). Print versions of NWL can be procured from the NASPA website by NASPA members only.

Using a D tile and a Z tile to make DZ or putting together D, Z and S or D and ZS to make DZS is not allowed, meaning words with these two letters are simply not playable. Using a blank (as Y ) in front of G , L , N or T to make GY , LY , NY or TY is also not allowed.
