Kepong is a federal constituency in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat since 1974. This federal constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Dewan Rakyat under the first past the post voting system.
Lim Lip Eng (Chinese: 林立迎; pinyin: Lín Lìyíng; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Lîm Li̍p-gêng; born 25 July 1972) is a Malaysian politician and lawyer who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kepong since May 2018. He served as the MP for Segambut from March 2008 to May 2018.
Tan's political involvement began in 1976, during which he served the people of Kepong on behalf of Dr. Tan Chee Khoon. He was the Democratic Action Party's National Vice-chairman and Member of Parliament for the constituency of Kepong leading up to the 2018 general election (GE14).
