Judas Priest are an English heavy metal band from Birmingham.Formed in September 1969, the group originally featured vocalist Al Atkins, guitarist John Perry (who died shortly after their formation and was replaced by Ernie Chataway), bassist Bruno Stapenhill and drummer John Partridge. [1]

Ian Hill (born 20 January 1952) [1] is an English musician, best known as the bassist and the sole continuous member of the heavy metal band Judas Priest.Along with lead guitarist Glenn Tipton, he is the only member who has appeared on all of the band's studio albums.
Richard Ian Faulkner (born 1 January 1980) [1] is a British-American guitarist best known as one of the lead guitarists for the heavy metal band Judas Priest since 2011, replacing original member K. K. Downing. He has also performed with Lauren Harris, Christopher Lee, Voodoo Six, Deeds, and Ace Mafia.

In 2018, Downing, along with former Judas Priest members Tim "Ripper" Owens and Les Binks, and Armored Saint bassist Joey Vera were featured in a cover version of the song "Beyond the Realms of Death", fronted by guitarist Paul Crook's band Devilstar, to commemorate the 40th anniversary of Judas Priest's 1978 album Stained Class.
