U.S. Route 30 (US 30) is an east–west arterial surface road in northern Illinois. It runs from across the Mississippi River from Clinton, Iowa , to Lynwood at the Indiana state line. This is a distance of 153.79 miles (247.50 km).
It is the junction between the Dan Ryan, Kennedy and Eisenhower Expressways (I-90/I-94 and I-290), and Ida B. Wells Drive. [1] In a dedication ceremony held on August 29, 2014, the interchange was renamed in honor of former Chicago mayor Jane M. Byrne (1979–1983).

SBI Route 113 was the name of both roads on the north and south sides of the Kankakee River from Diamond (between Coal City and Braidwood on Interstate 55) to Kankakee.In 1940, the route became Illinois Route 113N and Illinois Route 113S, with 113N as the northern route and 113S as the southern, with 113S used as the western end to U.S. Route 66 (now Interstate 55).
