Henry Ford built a replica and fully working grist mill and a white non-denominational chapel, named after his mother, Mary, and mother-in-law, Martha. [citation needed] Less well known is Ford's attempt to create a reservoir for the Wayside Inn. Across US Rte. 20 and now secluded in a wooded area behind private homes is a 30 ft. high stone dam.

The Redstone School is a one-room school located in Sudbury, Massachusetts. [1] Built in 1798, it is believed to be the school to which Mary Sawyer took her lamb in the nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb". [2] [3] At the time of Sawyer's attendance at the school, it was located in Sterling, Massachusetts.

The Randall–Hale Homestead is a historic First Period house at 6 Sudbury Road in Stow, Massachusetts. The oldest portion of this 2 + 1 ⁄ 2 -story timber-frame house was built c. 1710. [ 79 ] One of the oldest surviving homes in Stow, the house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
