The Archdiocesan Shrine of Santo Niño, also known as Santo Niño de Tondo Parish or Tondo Church, is a Roman Catholic church in Tondo, Manila established by the Augustinians. It is the home of the second oldest Sto. Niño in the Philippines, next to the Sto. Niño De Cebu (1521).
The Santo Niño de Tondo is a Catholic title of the Child Jesus associated with a religious image of the Christ Child. [1] The image was brought to the Philippines during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi in 1572 and is the 2nd oldest image of the Child Jesus in the Philippines, after the Santo Niño de Cebú.

The district celebrates the feast of the Tondo Church annually in January, which is dedicated to the image of the Santo Niño housed within the 16th-century Augustinian Tondo Church. The Lakbayaw Street Dance Festival, a competition among Ati-Atihan groups and school, local and religious groups, served as the climax of the feast. [16]
The church was established as an independent parish church in 1712 from the parish of Sampaloc. Completed in 1760, it housed the original image of the Santo Niño de Pandacan until it was destroyed by a fire in 2020. The church is currently undergoing reconstruction. The church celebrates its liturgical feast on the third Sunday of January.

Later, the school was moved to its location beside the Sto. Niño Church, where the Tondo Orphanage used to stand. The government began to recognize it as a legitimate school on February 22, 1951. The school became a corporation on October 23, 1954, under the name Holy Child Catholic School(HCCS).
