Parry Sound District is a census division of the Canadian province of Ontario. Its boundaries are District of Muskoka to the south, the Sudbury District to the north-northwest, the French River and Lake Nipissing in the north, Nipissing District and North Bay in the north and east and parts of Algonquin Park in the northeast.

Parry Sound is a sound or bay of Georgian Bay on Lake Huron, in Ontario, Canada. [1] It is highly irregularly shaped with many deep bays and islands. Killbear Provincial Park is located on the large peninsula that separates the sound from Georgian Bay, while it is bordered on the south side by Parry Island, home of the Wasauksing First Nation, Wasauksing being the First Nation's name for the bay.
The highway is 67.9 kilometres (42.2 mi) in length, connecting several small communities in Parry Sound District with Highway 124 and Highway 11. The highway links several remote First Nation hamlets to the major highway routes of the region. However, the only places of noteworthy size are the village of Magnetawan and the town of Burk's Falls.
The Boyne River is a river in the municipality of Seguin, Parry Sound District in Central Ontario, Canada. [1] It is part of the Great Lakes Basin, and flows from Otter Lake to its mouth at Georgian Bay on Lake Huron south of the town of Parry Sound. Oastler Lake Provincial Park is at the outflow of the Boyne River from Otter Lake to Oastler Lake.
