Gorges State Park is open for year-round recreation, including, camping, hiking, mountain biking, and fishing. Primitive camping is available in several different natural environments. The park surrounds Tallulah Gorge , a 1,000-foot (300 m) deep gorge formed by the action of the Tallulah River , which runs along the floor of the gorge.
