Sean Baker was born on February 26, 1971 in Summit, New Jersey and grew up in the Short Hills section of Millburn, New Jersey, and in Branchburg, New Jersey. [1] His mother was a teacher and his father was a patent attorney who once represented the director and the director's production company in a dispute over the title of his film Take Out.
