because kitasawa. Manga, the anime stops many volumes before the actual ending of the story and Inoue's art is incredible. Both are equally good and deserve praise. The anime was the gateway for most fans to be a fan of basketball/sports or a fan of manga/anime. I have fond memories from childhood watching this.
Which point in the manga should I start reading after finishing the Slam Dunk anime? Questions? I know a lot of people are gonna tell me to read the manga from the start, but I don’t really like re-reading parts I’ve already watched and just prefer watching in general (though I might read it in its entirety in the future).
This is a subreddit for REAL and Slam Dunk which are both written and illustrated by Inoue Takehiko. Members Online The grown-up Sakuragi that Inoue drew after the manga ended.
Slam Dunk continuation after manga! (Fan-fiction) Guys I just wanna share you this Slam Dunk fan-fiction that I’m currently reading. It’s the continuation right after the manga finished. It’s called “Slam Dunk: Conquer the Nation”. This novel is so well written that it feels cannon. There’s is 93 chapters, but I’ve only read 23 ...
The manga is perfect. The anime is not: occasionally the pacing moves like molasses. But Sakuragi's voice actor also turns in a masterclass in comedy in his performance. The anime is a wonderful experience, in any event. The final two Shohoku games from the manga are not in the anime. Anime does an anime-original final game.
Slam Dunk is definitely in the top 10 sports manga among with the other greats (Captain Tsubasa, Ashita no Joe, Touch). Sakuragi and his jumping ability is so well suited for Judo lmao. Definitely. I've actually bought the whole series, neatly stacked on my book shelf.
Manganelo is where I’m reading it. mangasee. No , i have tried tons of sites and most of tachiyomi's extension but i couldn't find high quality scans. Manga reader. If you want the best quality you'll need to buy the volumes 🤣. I had the same problem last week couldn’t find a good scan anywhere.
I'm gonna say what's always been very clear to me; the ending was abrupt and rushed, for whatever reason the manga ended before what Inoue originally had planned , you can tell he was building up to something with characters such as "Hiroshi Morishige" and "Atsushi Tsuchiya" I've seen some rumors of what might have happened but nothing confirmed.
Just want to share this mini passion project I did with my friend Maurice 😊. 1.) For fun, I broke down the Shohoku vs Sannoh match play-by-play and created a box score based on the info available in the manga series. You can check these info in this Google spreadsheet: 2.) We did a game analysis through a video/podcast (starting at 1:17:48 ...
The art evolves gradually. Even then the manga is a classic for a reason. Keep reading!!! This is a trend you see in a lot of long running manga. You even see it in series like One Piece which aren't exactly known for their art. The faces get much more real feeling and less perfect roundness.
