Hold the hose about 4 feet from its end then swing it, and it will flop around loosely. The PreDelay (delay time) though is fairly long- 20 milliseconds, and can preset to 50 milliseconds. This is quite big, and what makes it sound so wide. 50ms sounds so wide, it bounces off the walls like in a tiled bathroom.

  3. Best sounding 1x12 closed back cabinet with any speaker?

The Jet City JSA 12XS cab. These are no longer available in the USA. It's external dimensions were 14" x 14" x 7" deep with a front loaded eminence 12" speaker. The cab had a removable back panel that opened about 1/3 of the rear. With the back panel in place, the cab sounded terrible in my opinion.

Messages. 619. Feb 3, 2017. #1. 2014 Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker with 2 P90's. Sure gets a gnarly tone, but too noisy for my liking and annoys my lead singer. He also gets annoyed when I kick in a Flanger or Phaser, BTW. a friend said P90's aren't the same size as a humbucker and need a Mini humbucker. What Mini Humbucker would you recommend ...

  5. EL84 review/comparison: Gold Lion, JJ, and TAD | The Gear Page

Cleans: 6.5/10. Overdriven: 7.5/10. JJ EL84: Widely recommended by many makers of EL84 amps, this tube has a good reputation for having a lot of everything a good EL84 should. Sounds: lots of chime, really nice treble, but still with clear mids and enough bass (slightly less than the TAD, but plenty).

Guitars are like tools in the toolbox. To me a good J-45 is like a good rubber mallet, a good Martin D-28 like a hammer. You could setup a microphone on a showroom floor and A-B test them playing the same parts, but that's a narrow minded way of evaluation. The J-45 is known primary as the singer-songwriters companion.

  9. Strat players: How do you get such thick tones? | The Gear Page

    www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/strat-players-how-do-you-get-such...

Here's Burn I recorded long time ago. Again, strat bridge PU (except for the arpeggio at the end) + treble booster + Plexi clone. The way I normally set the Plexi (for a strat) is like this. And, I have a treble booster on all the time. The strat bridge PU has the tone control, and it usually stays around 7.

  10. Pros/cons of humbucker in tele neck position | The Gear Page

    www.thegearpage.net/board/index.php?threads/pros-cons-of-humbucker-in-tele...

My tele bridge (7.5K) pickup is almost identical output to the shawbucker (7.6) I have in my strat. There are plenty of lower output humbuckers out there these days. I should say that when I had the 57 classic (7.5 as well by the way) in the neck position of my tele I had wired the controls for Two volume controls.

Jan 18, 2022. #2. First off, I would look for a quality IEM system. All you would need is an aux/mix bus out from the mixing console just like you would send to a powered speaker or amplifier. The best advice I can offer is always start a conversation before hand with the production team at a venue.
