Dattatreya Hosabale (born 1 December 1954) is an Indian social worker and politician who is the current General Secretary of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) since March 2021. [1] During the period of Indian Emergency from 1975 to 1977 he was arrested under the Maintenance of Internal Security Act (MISA) and imprisoned for 16 months.
