Kenneth Nathaniel Taylor (May 8, 1917 – June 10, 2005) was an American publisher and author, better known as the creator of The Living Bible and the founder of Tyndale House, [2] a Christian publishing company, and Living Bibles International.
Tyndale was founded in 1962 by Kenneth N. Taylor in order to publish his paraphrase of the Epistles, which he had composed while commuting to work at Moody Press in Chicago. [1] [2] The book appeared under the title Living Letters, and received a television endorsement from Billy Graham.
They have also been referred to as computer books [1], picture book programs, [1] books-on-disk, [2] talking books, [3] [4] or living books. [ 4 ] This software is targeted at young readers (usually kindergarten to second grade) for educational purposes.
