The National Highways & Motorway Police (Urdu: نیشنل ہائی ویز اینڈ موٹروے پولیس), abbreviated NHMP, is a police force in Pakistan that is responsible for enforcement of traffic and safety laws, security and recovery on Pakistan's National Highways and Motorway network.
It was founded in 2017 for the purpose of assembling and distributing automobiles from the South Korean automobile manufacturer Kia in Pakistan. [2] Originally incorporated as Kia Lucky Motors Pakistan, the company changed its name to Lucky Motor Corporation Limited [ 3 ] in 2020.

The Punjab Police is constituted by the Police Order 2002 and operates under the Police Rules of 1934. The Central Police Office (CPO) in Lahore which has a number of branches, including the Legal Affairs Division (Legal Branch), Finance and Welfare, Operations, Training, and Research and Development.
The Elite Police were also extensively involved in neutralizing enemy combatants who had laid siege to the Manawan Police Training School during the 2009 Lahore police academy attacks.
